Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ziel dieses Kapitels ist es, den Lesern dabei zu helfen, den Investitionsprozess in Start-ups und Unternehmen in der Frühphase zu entmystifizieren. Die Autoren beleuchten dieses Thema sowohl aus der Perspektive von Start-ups als auch von Investoren und geben darüber hinaus Einblicke in die entscheidenden Faktoren des Investitionsentscheidungsprozesses. Mit Fokus auf das kanadische regulatorische Umfeld betonen die Autoren die Bedeutung der frühzeitigen Entwicklung einer Strategie für geistiges Eigentum (MVIP), um die Fähigkeit von Start-ups zur Kapitalakquise von Investoren zu stärken sowie Wettbewerb und Produktivität zu fördern.
