Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir untersuchen die Rolle, die geistiges Eigentum (IP) und immaterielle Vermögenswerte (IA) bei privaten Technologieplatzierungen aus der Sicht eines Investors spielen. Darüber hinaus beziehen wir die Perspektiven verschiedener weiterer Interessengruppen ein, die an der Gründung, Finanzierung, dem Betrieb, der Skalierung und dem Exit von Technologieunternehmen beteiligt sind. Anhand von anschaulichen Fallstudien, die auf unseren gemeinsam über sechs Jahrzehnte gesammelten relevanten und persönlichen Erfahrungen basieren, möchten wir unsere Leser einbinden und informieren und ihnen umsetzbare Erkenntnisse vermitteln, die sie – ob als Investor oder Investitionsempfänger – bei ihrem nächsten Geschäft nutzen können. Zudem greifen wir auf das kollektive Wissen verschiedener Branchenpraktiker zurück, mit denen wir im Laufe unserer Karrieren zusammengearbeitet haben.
