Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dank einer starken aktiven Unterstützung durch die öffentlichen Behörden hat sich Frankreich zu einer führenden Start-up-Nation entwickelt. Dies ist insbesondere das Ergebnis der Erkenntnis der politischen Entscheidungsträger des Landes, dass die Fähigkeit, im Technologiewettlauf mitzuhalten, entscheidend ist, um die eigene Position im harten globalen Wettbewerb zu behaupten, der zunehmend von der Rivalität zwischen den Vereinigten Staaten und China geprägt ist. Die frühen Erfolge, die sich in der Entwicklung des französischen Start-up-Ökosystems manifestieren, stehen jedoch nicht in vollem Einklang mit einer ebenso ausgeprägten Politik im Bereich des geistigen Eigentums (IP). Dies setzt die wertvolle französische Start-up-Community potenziell einem Risiko aus, insbesondere im Hinblick auf aggressive Vorgehensweisen globaler Akteure im Bereich disruptiver Technologien. Eine Analyse der internationalen Landschaft ermöglicht es, die möglichen Gründe für eine solche Situation sowie potenzielle Lösungsansätze zu identifizieren.
