Abstract

Zusammenfassung Israel wird aufgrund der einzigartigen unternehmerischen DNA der Bevölkerung, der umfangreichen Forschungs- und Entwicklungstätigkeit, des hohen Niveaus an Risikokapitalaktivitäten sowie der erheblichen staatlichen Förderung, die äußerst erfolgreiche Start-ups in verschiedenen Branchen unterstützt, als „Start-up-Nation“ bezeichnet. Die meisten Start-ups in Israel und weltweit durchlaufen einen definierten Lebenszyklus mit unterschiedlichen Phasen. Jede Phase weist spezifische Merkmale auf, die die Strategie für geistiges Eigentum im Allgemeinen und Patente im Besonderen direkt beeinflussen. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt die anpassungsfähige IP-Strategie, verschiedene für jede Start-up-Phase typische Fragestellungen des geistigen Eigentums und zeigt Best Practices für den Umgang mit diesen Themen auf.
