Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für Start-ups kann die effektive Nutzung von Rechten des geistigen Eigentums (IP) dazu beitragen, Ressourcen zu gewinnen, den Unternehmenswert und das Wachstum zu steigern sowie von Veränderungen der Marktbedingungen zu profitieren. Eine wirksame Nutzung von IP-Rechten setzt jedoch voraus, dass Start-ups die richtigen Informationen und Unterstützungsangebote suchen, ihre immateriellen Vermögenswerte prüfen und verstehen, wie die Besonderheiten ihrer Branche die IP-Strategie beeinflussen, sowie die Unterstützung lokaler Partner in Zielmärkten in Anspruch nehmen. Diese Vorteile und Ansätze im Umgang mit IP werden anhand von Belegen aus Australien veranschaulicht, die die Rolle des geistigen Eigentums im Unternehmertum und Unternehmenswachstum aufzeigen.
