Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel analysieren wir die Merkmale kontinuierlicher Entwicklung. Dies stellt eine Art Ausgangsbasis für Entwicklung dar – im Gegensatz zu starkem Wachstum (Kap. 6) oder Niedergang (Kap. 7). Eine dauerhaft kontinuierliche Entwicklung führt zu Langlebigkeit. Wir schlagen ein theoretisches Konzept vor, demzufolge Langlebigkeit nicht auf überlegener Leistung in bestimmten Erfolgsfaktoren beruht – wie es in verschiedenen Strategieansätzen behauptet wird. Vielmehr sehen wir Langlebigkeit als Folge davon, dass bestimmte Mindestvoraussetzungen in zufriedenstellendem Maße erfüllt werden.
