Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel beginnt mit einer Darstellung der Rollen, die unabhängige Partnerorganisationen im Ökosystem einnehmen können. In diesem Abschnitt werden sowohl die Rolle des Orchestrators als auch die entscheidende Rolle der Komplementoren in Ökosystemen behandelt. Darüber hinaus werden die zusätzlichen Rollen von Kunden, Vermittlern, Regulierungsbehörden und Lieferanten skizziert. Anschließend gliedert sich das Kapitel in drei Abschnitte: Aufbau von Ökosystemen, Identifikation von Komplementoren und Hebel für das Wachstum von Ökosystemen. Der Abschnitt zum Aufbau von Ökosystemen erläutert die Beweggründe für den langfristigen Prozess der Einführung eines Ökosystems und betont die Bedeutung eines starken „Warum“ als Zweck des Ökosystems von Beginn an. Dieses Kapitel führt zudem das Konzept des Minimum Viable Ecosystem ein und stellt die Komplementoren-Fit-Analyse vor, die bei der Identifikation potenzieller Komplementoren unterstützt. Abschließend gibt das Kapitel einen Überblick über die Herausforderungen beim Skalieren von Ökosystemen sowie über spezifische Hebel für das Wachstum von Ökosystemen. Dazu zählen (unter anderem) der Aufbau von Netzwerkeffekten und Modularität sowie das gezielte Management strategischer Engpässe.
