Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das zweite Kapitel führt Komplementarität und Modularität als die zentralen Merkmale von Ökosystemen ein. Der erste Abschnitt stellt Komplementarität als einen Mechanismus vor, der Unternehmen dazu veranlasst, von Wertschöpfungsketten zu Geschäftsökosystemen überzugehen. Es werden verschiedene Arten von Komplementaritäten und ihr Potenzial zur Gestaltung von Ökosystemen untersucht, mit besonderem Fokus auf die Rolle der Komplementoren—wobei sowohl die Vorteile als auch mögliche Nachteile von Komplementaritäten hervorgehoben werden. Der zweite Abschnitt führt das Konzept der Modularität ein und erörtert, wie diese effektiv erreicht werden kann. Der letzte Abschnitt beschreibt die notwendigen Bedingungen hinsichtlich Komplementarität und Modularität, die erfüllt sein müssen, damit Ökosysteme entstehen können.
