Abstract

Family businesses are entities that drive the dynamism of the global economy and constitute the majority of businesses worldwide. Organizational culture in family businesses and the values and beliefs that shape it are a unifying factor and a vital instrument for the ongoing operation of the company. Organizational culture within family businesses, which are a form of value-oriented organization, offers a significant amount of flexibility for the family, the business, and individual decisions to be influenced by religious beliefs and political views. The inclusion of morally binding values such as religion and politics shapes organizational decision-making, ethical values and, in short, the organization's culture. This study employed qualitative research, utilizing interviews with business owners or managers, to comprehend the cultural environment of family businesses and the interconnected relationships in the implementation processes. The questions investigated how the events that took place during the implementation phase were perceived and accepted in line with their beliefs and political views. Based on the results collected, efforts were made to understand how participants characterized and managed this relationship. Furthermore, the study's findings offer details on how potential conflicts were managed or regulated.
