Abstract

This volume brings together the work of researchers belonging to a research network involving European and Asian universities, whose work is intended to shed light on some transformations taking place in a rapidly changing global economy. Every month for the past two years, researchers from the two continents have been combining their analyses to understand the changes in financial markets, the evolution of global value chains, the currency wars, corporate strategies, the resilience of economies to new types of shock, secular stagnation, the role of emerging Asian economies in globalization and the challenges they face, and the increasingly important role of geopolitical factors on economies.
