Abstract

OGA is a Spanish consulting company based in Seville that applies optimization to help companies improve their business processes. Specializing in creating business value through the application of critical process optimization techniques, OGA mainly employs metaheuristic techniques to deliver high-quality solutions to practical problems faced by companies. From scheduling to routing, the company approaches logistic problems in the supply chain to improve the operations of their final customer. In this chapter, we show the complexities of real-world optimization problems in an example of the beverage industry and how OGA efficiently solves them by applying metaheuristic technologies in a financially sustainable manner.
