Abstract

This chapter explores the integration of responsible behavior design and disruptive technologies to facilitate sustainable development. It begins with an overview of responsible behaviors that is necessary to sustainability. The chapter delves into responsible behaviors, highlighting innovative paradigms like design thinking, behavioral insight, nudge management and gamification. It emphasizes the role of strategic thinking, including open strategy, coopetition and co-creation, in promoting sustainable business practices. The discussion extends to disruptive technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain, showcasing their potential to enhance sustainability through persuasive technology and digital behavior design. The chapter concludes with an examination of the implications for organizational citizenship behavior, resource management, and the design of resilient world, underscoring the vital role of responsible behavior design in achieving a sustainable future.
