Abstract

The integration of the technology into credit rating processes is the focus of this chapter, which is split between how the credit rating agencies are utilising AI and how researchers and market participants are also making use of AI to better understanding creditworthiness. Development within the credit rating agency sector is also presented, in terms of the services they are starting to offer, Mergers and Acquisitions that are taking place, and how the internal processes of the agencies are being adapted to the world of Generative AI.
