Abstract

This chapter will discuss how the tracks visited by MotoGP are located in economies characterised by specific political and societal conditions. We will observe the capacity of variables such as GDP, GDP per capita, Index of Democracy, or Human Development Index explaining the probability of countries having the headquarters of MotoGP teams, exporting riders or hosting a weekend of MotoGP competitions.
