Abstract

This final chapter summarizes some of the main issues covered in this book. It also adopts a positive forward-looking perspective towards African development. Thus, the chapter covers these key future strategic problems and argues for a sound strategic horizon for African development with flexible tactics appropriate for specific time periods and definite African geography of space. It ends by reiterating the importance of unity and more genuine, sustainable and human-centred development in Africa.
