Abstract

This chapter examines the macroeconomically critical nexus between climate vulnerability, development, and debt sustainability in Sierra Leone. We document Sierra Leone’s commitments and actions to combat climate change through its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and detail the challenges in financing the ambitious climate-related spending needs outlined in the updated NDC.
