Abstract

This chapter explores the transition from traditional to digital banking, highlighting the growth of internet banking, web banking, and app banking. It examines the infrastructure of digital banking, focusing on user interface design, data security, and scalability. It also discusses the emergence of challenger banks and neobanks that use technology to deliver hyper-personalized services. Advanced technologies such as AI, ML, and DL are identified as key drivers of innovation and operational efficiency. The chapter concludes with an analysis of regulatory frameworks and financial sustainability models, positioning FinTech as a transformative force in reshaping the global economy.
