Abstract

OBJECTIVE 1: To inform readers about the dynamic relationship between prices and demand. OBJECTIVE 2: To explain the elasticities of demand and discuss the role and different forms of price elasticities and their interrelationship with income and cross elasticity. OBJECTIVE 3: To illustrate the different forms of market structures, including perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly and monopolistic competition and to explain the influence of these market forms on how pricing can be managed.
