Abstract

Industry 5.0 signifies a paradigm shift in industrial practices by integrating human creativity and advanced technologies such as AI, robotics, and IoT to foster sustainable and personalized manufacturing processes. This chapter delves into the critical role of cybersecurity within this new industrial era, highlighting the vulnerabilities introduced by increased interconnectivity and human-machine collaboration. Key solutions such as Zero Trust Architecture, AI-driven threat detection, blockchain for data integrity, and quantum-resistant cryptography are explored, alongside human-centric security measures and training. By addressing emerging security challenges and proposing innovative strategies, this study underscores the importance of a robust and adaptive security framework to support the dynamic and interconnected nature of Industry 5.0.
