Abstract

This chapter continues the analysis of cryptocurrency and digital asset spoofing techniques. It begins with a discussion of order book spoofing and market manipulation techniques. Case studies in order book spoofing involving trading platforms including BitMEX, Coinbase, Binance, and FTX. Next, more technology-focused spoofing techniques are discussed. This includes IP spoofing, domain spoofing, and caller ID spoofing. Finally, the chapter discussed the concept of address poisoning and its relation to spoofing.
