Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Modellierung spezifischer Details von Design- und Entwicklungsprozessen hilft, Erkenntnisse für ihre Planung, Durchführung und Verbesserung zu generieren. Eine Vielzahl von Modellierungsansätzen wurde entwickelt, um diese Aktivitäten zu unterstützen, wobei der Fokus auf verschiedenen Aspekten des Design- und Entwicklungsprozesses mit unterschiedlichen Zielen liegt. Einige, in diesem Kapitel als Mikroebene beschrieben, konzentrieren sich auf die Modellierung des Wissens und der rationalen Untermauerung einzelner Aufgaben. Andere, auf der Mesoebene, konzentrieren sich auf die Modellierung von Aktivitätsflüssen. Eine dritte Gruppe, auf der Makroebene, konzentriert sich auf die Modellierung von Design- und Entwicklungsprozessen in ihren Kontexten. Dieses Kapitel bietet einen organisierten Überblick über diese drei Kategorien von Ansätzen und diskutiert einige, die praxisorientiert sind, und andere, die hauptsächlich forschungsorientiert sind. Das Kapitel bietet auch Kommentare zu den Vorteilen und Einschränkungen ausgewählter Ansätze.
