Abstract

How can Fintech drive economic development and growth in developing countries? Which Fintech tools and channels are most effective for stimulating economic progress? What policy challenges need to be addressed to maximize Fintech’s impact? This chapter answers the above questions by identifying key Fintech tools, and examining their potential to spur economic growth and development. We specifically analyze data from India and offer insights into the mechanisms through which Fintech can influence economic dynamics in the current times.
