Abstract

This volume is testimony to the rich and amazingly diverse mathematical life of Wolfgang Dahmen. The cornerstones of Wolfgang’s research are deep theoretical analysis and extensive interdisciplinary projects in high-performance scientific computing. This article touches on some of the highlights of his work and its impact in application domains.
