Abstract

The biggest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions are companies that offer products and services that result in significant environmental impacts (Ritchie et al., 2020). With the 17 SDGs, companies can work together towards common objectives and may feel motivated or even forced to do so. Without such cooperation, environmental changes will continue to cause devastation. One company that can make a big impact towards a sustainable world is the Walt Disney Company. This chapter examines the Walt Disney Company and how it integrates SDG 14 into its business strategy. The chapter also considers whether The Walt Disney Company takes enough responsibility for its impacts on Earth.
