Abstract

This chapter provides practical insights on how to maximise your learning during your MBA program. Using the analogy of an MBA as a jet engine, the authors illustrate the need for a balanced integration of academic and non-academic elements to propel personal and professional growth. The chapter highlights eight crucial academic areas, including balancing theory and practice, mastering the case method, developing hard and soft skills, and effectively nurturing the relationship with key professors. By understanding the roles of academic and operational directors, students can navigate the program more efficiently, ensuring academic success and solid long-term career prospects.
