Abstract

This chapter provides a comprehensive eight-step guide for individuals seeking to apply to their ideal MBA program. A strong emphasis is placed on the importance of conducting thorough (often year-long) research to adequately prepare for the application journey. The chapter covers crucial steps, including gathering information on MBA programs, identifying key selection criteria, strategically timing the application, planning for references, taking the standardized tests (GMAT/GRE), refining your CV/resume, preparing compelling essays, and finalizing the application. By following the insights and recommendations detailed in this chapter, MBA applicants can improve their chances of submitting a successful application and gaining acceptance into their desired MBA programs.
