Abstract

In this chapter, we discuss several examples illustrating the nature of infinite-dimensional algebro-geometric objects for which the constructions and results of Chaps. 7 – 10 are designed. These include the Tate affine space, the cotangent bundle to a discrete projective space, the universal fibration of quadratic cones in a linearly compact vector space, and the loop group of an affine algebraic group.
