Abstract

“Introduction and Overview: The Maturing Korean Auto Industry, 1997–2019,” provides an overview of volume 1. After its introductory section, the chapter draws upon Volume 1 to discuss the Korean auto industry’s historical stages of development between 1997 and 2019. It then offers brief summaries of the fifteen remaining chapters of the book and some background information regarding the research conducted to complete the manuscript.
