Abstract

Zusammenfassung Buddhismus wird manchmal als Religion betrachtet, aber immer mehr Menschen erkennen, dass buddhistische Praktiken nicht unbedingt mit ihren religiösen Ansichten und Werten in Konflikt stehen müssen. Buddhismus kann sehr gut als Lebensweise betrachtet werden. Die vier edlen Wahrheiten, einschließlich des edlen achtfachen Pfades, sind einige der wichtigsten Konzepte des Buddhismus. Der Schwerpunkt des Buddhismus auf dem Bewusstsein zielt darauf ab, die Schicht der Ignoranz und des gleichgültigen Akzeptierens des Status quo abzulösen, in dem wir durch die moderne Gesellschaft konditioniert wurden.
