Abstract

I came to Libertarianism late in my life, being led there by the question: “What is money?”, and finding the answer in Mises’s The Theory of Money and Credit. It is not an exaggeration to describe my discovery of libertarianism as a conversion. Having discovered the power of libertarian thought to make sense of the world of politics and economics, I had to share my discovery with my students. I taught a course, “Anarchy, Law and the State,” to my undergraduate students and another course, “Law, State and Liberty,” to my graduate students. These were so much fun to teach that I could scarcely credit I was getting paid to do it! The students seemed to enjoy them too!
