How I Became an Austro-Libertarian

Abstract

This essay explains how the author decided to devote his career to the study of Austrian economics and libertarian political philosophy. He explains that his interest in these topics began with riding in the car while his father listened to Rush Limbaugh, but quickly moved on to readings of the classic economists starting with popular pieces by Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams, and culminating in the books by Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard.
