Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel ist der Modellierung der Resilienz von Lieferketten gewidmet. Das Kapitel beginnt mit einer Klassifizierung der bestehenden Modellierungsmethoden und einer Erläuterung ihrer Anwendungen und Erkenntnisse für die Unternehmensführung. Anschließend werden in diesem Kapitel einige Modellierungsbeispiele vorgestellt und einige Optimierungs- und Simulationstechniken präsentiert, um die Auswirkungen von Störungen auf die Leistung der Lieferkette zu ermitteln (d. h. um die Frage „Was ist passiert?“ zu beantworten) und sie zu erklären (d. h. um die Frage „Warum ist es passiert?“ zu beantworten). Darüber hinaus befasst sich das Kapitel auch mit der Optimierung der Lieferkette, um die Frage „Wie kann man die Lieferkette wiederherstellen?“ zu beantworten.
