Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nach jahrelangen Investitionen werden die gut eingeführten Arbeitsabläufe, Systeme und Managementpraktiken der Unternehmen nun mit sich verändernden Märkten und Kundenbedürfnissen konfrontiert. Drei typische Transformationshürden wurden festgestellt: das global-lokale Paradoxon, die Silo-Orientierung und das Risiko, dass sich die Prioritäten aufgrund von Veränderungen im Management ändern. Die vorgeschlagenen Gestaltungspfeiler (im Original: design pillars) tragen dazu bei, diese Hürden zu überwinden, indem sie jeden Einzelnen auf ein bestimmtes Ziel verpflichten, Teams befähigen, ihr Ziel zu erreichen, und die Vernetzung von Ressourcen über strukturelle Grenzen hinweg fördern.
