Abstract

The socialist system lasted almost 70 years. Capitalism is operating for nearly 200 years and remains strong. Marxian theory of social changeMarxian theory of social change predicted the breakdown of capitalismCapitalism, breakdown of and its transformation into a socialist system. This prediction has not occurred. Moreover, according to unified theory of capitalism (UTC), this system produces higher income levels but with social maladies, such income inequality and environment degradation; yet it remains strong. Why?
