Abstract

This brief Chapter provides some final reflections on the use of nostalgia marketing and summarizes the findings that emerged from the previous Chapters. After recapping and underlining the advantages and downsides that accompany the use of nostalgia, the Chapter highlights the key points that marketers and practitioners should consider in their marketing strategies. The Chapter ends with some concluding remarks about the potential of nostalgia in marketing—not only for companies’ bottom-lines, but also for consumers’ understanding of themselves.
