Abstract

In this chapter, the fundamental properties of Organisational Structuralism are presented and discussed in detail. Starting from some basic assumptions and postulates, the main definitions and descriptions of the necessary properties that should be satisfied by any organization in order to become structure driven and not soft skills driven are presented and thoroughly analyzed. Some key organizational structural properties such as homogeneity, homeostaticity, autonomy, heteronomy, Material and Symbolic structures and their fundamental properties and definitions are also discussed. A comparative analysis between organizational homogeneity and the homogeneity in linguistic systems is conducted including some examples. Homogeneous systems and Variances, Heterogeneity, phylogenetic and heterogenetic properties, Teleonomy and Invariance, Anelyxis, and Katelyxis endogenous and exogenous organizational phenomena are also explicated.
