Abstract

From the start of their business in 1933, illycaffè has always put quality and innovation at the core of their identity, making them, today, one of the most important coffee players in the world. illycaffè is a Società Benefit (Benefit Corporation, B Corp certified) which produces and markets worldwide high-quality coffee, carefully sourced and developed over years of innovation. The unmistakable taste and aroma of illy are born from the perfect balance of these ingredients that the company purchases directly from the growers in South America, Central America, India, Africa and China. Worldwide, more than 8 million coffee cups are enjoyed every day, made with the illy blend for Ho.Re.Ca. channels (hotels, restaurants, cafés), for home, for the office and on the go, and sold in over 140 countries. Founded in 1933 by Francesco Illy, the company has been a role model for Made in Italy brands with their drive for Italian quality and innovation, showcasing how the two can coexist with great success.
