Abstract

The entrepreneurs are the primary drivers of innovationinnovation, while the entrepreneurial system is the pinnacle of decision-making and the centre of the innovation network. The entrepreneurial system is not only limited to setting objectives, establishing priorities, interpreting and ruling the reality of a dynamic market, but it is also composing, deconstructing and recomposing the value creation process. The entrepreneurentrepreneur is the one who models and arranges the output based on intuitions and judgements. Innovation is one essential component of the engine of entrepreneurship. This chapter presents the key concepts of entrepreneurship by establishing a connection between entrepreneurship and innovation.
