Abstract

The current social and economic scenario has increasingly demanded from organizations a vision focused on the responsible use of resources and preservation of the environment. These factors, added to the search for greater competitiveness and lower operating costs, favored the increase in studies aimed at energy management and efficiency. The growing number of works on the theme is also noted with increasing on applications of multi-criteria decision making. In recent years, a significant number of studies have been published combining themes of energy management and multi-criteria decision, contributing to the evolution of these areas of knowledge and helping organizations decision-making in complex scenarios, where several variables and factors involved a broad context. This work presents a systematic literature review, identifying the evolution of works and their citations, highlighting the more applied methods, areas, contributions, and finally, suggesting directions for future research.
