Abstract

This case study provides an example where the Plaintiff would be expected to incur little to no future economic losses due to the abundance of replacement employment opportunities available at the time of separation. The Plaintiff in this case was a Registered Nurse (RN), which is a highly skilled position that requires years of medical training and certification. Because of the job requirements of a RN, it was important to look at the job market specific to Plaintiff’s education and training. The labor marketLabor market availability study performed in this case found that had the Plaintiff performed a sufficiently diligent job searchDiligent job search, she could have been expected to find comparable replacement employmentReplacement employment, comparable within a reasonable period of time.
