Abstract

This chapter, “Creative Industries: a Review of the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic,” is devoted to the problems of the functioning of creative industries (theaters, museums, entertainment events, etc.) during the pandemic and post-COVID period. It is important to note that since the creative industries are primarily cultural goods and servicesservices in their economic essence, it should be noted that they have suffered more from lockdownlockdown and quarantinequarantine measures than material productionproduction. The study shows the current statestate of the creative industry and also suggests possible ways out of the crisiscrisis for producers of cultural goods.
