Abstract

In the concluding chapter of the book, the editors reflect on how tourism resilience is understood and practiced in the Caribbean SIDS under study. The discussions reflect a strong adherence to businesses and destinations absorptive and adaptive resilience capacities in the face of a myriad number of vulnerability shocks. Key lessons emerge as it is proposed that Caribbean island states progress towards the adoption of a transformative resilience agenda.
