Abstract

Dan PallotaPallota, Dan changed the nonprofitNonprofits world in a few significant ways. He pointed to critical faults in the nonprofit world that were obvious but had never been pointed out in quite the same way. He delivered a Ted Talk on May 11, 2013, titled, “The Way We Think About Charity Is Dead Wrong” which has been watched over 5 million times. Since then, he has gone on to do countless speaking engagements and has published several books which highlight one simple idea: we have starved the nonprofitNonprofits world of the resources needed to grow and thus solve the challenges they were created to tackle.
