Abstract

The existing literature considering entrepreneurial behaviour and activity within Malaysia is limited. This edited book provides an overview of entrepreneurial activity within a Malaysian content. This text offers a contemporary evaluation of entrepreneurial behaviour in Malaysia exploring aspects such as entrepreneurial ecosystems, social enterprise, entrepreneurial learning, female entrepreneurship and technology entrepreneurship. This chapter provides an introduction to the edited book giving an overview of each chapter within the manuscript. Thereafter, conclusions are drawn regarding the current state and levels of entrepreneurial activity within Malaysia and opportunities for further research.
