Abstract

Continuous monitoring of HPC systems is essential for a compute center for various reasons. Different measurement methods come into play, as they provide different kinds of insights. In this paper, we motivate continuous low-frequency sampling and its benefits, and we describe how to realize this on top of existing tools employed at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre.
