Abstract

Guatemala is a country with many favorable conditions for business and tourism. It has a great geographical location with access to both oceans. As the largest economy in Central America, Guatemala has been enjoying stable macroeconomics, which reflects low inflation, good interest rates, flexible exchange rates, and the most important, economic growth. Guatemala has a creative and hardworking entrepreneurial population. All of these attributes provide generally a good business environment for foreign investment.
