Abstract

Creating a new enterprise is no trivial enterprise, even more challenging is the process of turning that creative idea into reality (innovation), especially if the new enterprise is meant to be in space. It turns out that lots of folks are creative and have brilliant ideas about how to make the world better, how to be successful, and how to make the solar system a place for human settlement. Lots of these creative ideas are founded on sound science and apply laws of physics while some other ideas are best left to science fiction. In either case the owners of these creative notions believe resolutely in their efficacy; they believe that they have found a solution that will change the future and remove a critical barrier to human habitation of space.
