Abstract

Zusammenfassung Während die explosiven Jahre der Krise in der Eurozone im Frühjahr 2013 vorbei waren, gab es 2013–2015 noch viele Nachbeben, die die erzielten Fortschritte gefährdeten. Keines von ihnen explodierte jedoch oder erschütterte die noch immer fragile Erholung. Das erste von ihnen war die zyprische Bankenkrise im Winter 2012–2013. Daraus kann man viel lernen, wie man damit umgeht und wie man nicht mit der Bewältigung von Bankenkrisen umgeht. Die anderen Nachbeben waren Slowenien in den Jahren 2012–2013 und Griechenland (erneut) im Jahr 2015. Der Brexit war eine flankierende Explosion mit eigenen post-imperialen Ursprüngen. Eine Zollunion würde als Brücke dienen, bis Großbritannien sich entscheidet, in die europäische Staatengemeinschaft zurückzukehren – in der nächsten Generation.
