Abstract

We contacted several researchers who worked on the topics treated in this book or related to them, and asked them for their testimony about the influence played by the main contributors mentioned, in particular Peter Wynn, and how they developed their ideas in their own work. We left them completely free to write what they wanted. They allowed us to reproduce their contributions here, and they are all published below as they were received, without any modification. These testimonies reflect their own views on the domain, and provide an account of their own work. As the reader will see, each testimony has its own flavor, and all are quite different. The last section of this chapter contains the testimonies of the authors of this book, in which they express their personal feelings.
