Abstract

In this paper we address the application of single valued neutrosophic set in medical science decision-making process, particularly in radiotherapy. Neutrosophic set is a parametrized tool for dealing with imprecise and ambiguous data connection with real-world practical problems. We expand the weighted similarity measure by subjective and objective assessment of criteria weights on alternatives in decision-making process. Throughout this study, we establish a decision-making method to choose the best radiotherapy imaging technique to minimize dosimetric examination and exact localization of tumor volume during treatment and thus avoid further exposure from imaging procedures.
